kef theatrical productions will be returning to 59E59 Theaters to present the U.S. premiere of Ken Urban’s beautiful play, Sense of an Ending, in August. Following our collaboration with Ken and 59E59 on our production of The Awake, a 2013 The New York Times Critic’s Pick, we are beyond thrilled to bring you a play that I, personally, have wanted to produce for many years. We are raising money to make the production a reality, and we need your help.
Marking the 21st anniversary of the Rwandan genocide, this compelling political thriller asks if forgiveness is possible in a world where questions of right and wrong are never simple and new headlines continually vie for our attention. Sense of an Ending commands our attention to the past, the victims, the perpetrators and our own responsibility as observers. I am asking for your help to bring this beautiful play to the stage. We are well on our way, having already raised more than two-thirds of our budget goal, but we need to raise the rest.
